Shipping policy

At Byron Music, we’re committed to delivering your order quickly, safely, and at a fair cost — no matter where you are in Australia.
We ship nationwide using Australia Post, Aramex, and, for oversized or heavy items, reputable freight forwarders chosen for reliability and care.


1. Shipping Fees

  • Standard Flat Rate: All orders incur a flat shipping fee of $10 Australia-wide.

  • Bulky / Heavy Items: For large or heavy products (typically over 10 kg) — such as pianos, drum kits, speakers, and amplifiers — additional freight charges may apply.

  • Freight Forwarding: If your order requires special transport, we’ll obtain a quote from a trusted freight forwarder before dispatch and contact you for approval.

  • You’ll always be notified before any change in shipping cost is applied. No hidden charges.


2. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped, including a tracking number.


3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Please note: delivery times may vary due to courier schedules, weather, or peak-season demand. Once the parcel is with the carrier, delivery time is outside our control — but we’ll always help you track it down if needed.


4. Click & Collect

Prefer to pick up your order?
You can collect it from our Byron Bay store:

We’ll email you when your order is ready — usually within 1–2 business days.

Please bring your order confirmation and ID when collecting your item.


5. Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can monitor its progress in real time.
If tracking updates stop for more than 5 business days, contact us at info@byronmusic.com.au so we can follow up directly with the courier.


6. Damaged, Delayed or Missing Parcels

  • If your item arrives damaged, appears tampered with, or hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please notify us immediately.

  • All claims for lost or damaged parcels must be lodged within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery).

  • We’ll liaise with Australia Post, Aramex, or the freight provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


7. International Shipping

At this time, Byron Music ships within Australia only. If you’re located overseas and wish to place an order, please contact us directly for assistance.
