Building upon the legacy of the original X1, the X1 A features a newly-developed 2/3″ back-electret condenser capsule that provides an even, well-balanced frequency response. Its cardioid polar pattern ensures focused capture of sound sources while minimizing off-axis noise. The microphone boasts impressive specifications, including a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a sensitivity of 20 mV/Pa, and a maximum SPL of up to 150 dB with the -20 dB attenuation pad engaged. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from vocals and acoustic instruments to electric guitar cabinets and drum kits.
The X1 A is equipped with a 100 Hz low-cut filter to eliminate low-frequency rumble and a -20 dB attenuation pad to handle high-pressure sound levels.
