Byron Music drum teacher, Ben Buckley, has spent his time over the last decade mastering the art of hand-crafting these exsquisite handpans.

As a drummer, Ben wanted to expand his percussive expertise directly to a melodic intrument. He thought the handpan is the perfect cross between the rythmic and musical worlds… They’re built on scales, and you play in patterns, so you can’t hit a wrong note.

We have a range of Octopans in stock. This is the D Minor Pentatonic Scale. The minor pentatonic is a five-note scale consisting of the root (1), b3, 4, 5, b7.
