The thin 6mm/7ply all-Mahogany shells exude classic rich and warmth tones and are fitted with hand-cut sound focus rings, which enhance rich, full clarity and projection. Adorned with an outer ply of Tineo wood with a Caramel Burst finish, this kits reflects a beauty that matches its rich and complex tone. The drum’s resonance is further enhanced by the STAR Drum’s Super Resonant Mounting System, allowing the full tonal range of the Mahogany shells to be realized. Shell Materials & Construction
The shell features a 5mm, 4-ply Bubinga core, enhanced with a striking outer ply of Blackwood and a warm-sounding inner ply of Cordia. A 9mm, 12-ply Bubinga Sound Focus Ring is integrated to optimize projection and tonal clarity.

Super Resonant Mounting System
This innovative system uses three contact points: two under the batter-side hoop and one on the resonant-side hoop. This configuration provides maximum stability while allowing the drum to resonate freely for optimal sound quality.

Chrome Die-Cast Hoops
Crafted from durable zinc, these hoops offer a crisp attack, improved projection, a focused tone, and greater tuning precision.

Quick-Lock Tom Brackets
