Drums - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

I began my passion for rhythm on a farm in Fernleigh. A neighbouring property was owned by an old musician who had a whole house full of instruments.
On my 11th Birthday this kind person showed up at my family’s farm with a drum set of my very own. I must have shown an interest in his drum set.
It was not long before I was in my first band, we had the basics down and we were ready to go! We began playing at local youth events and a few licensed venues escorted by our parents. These early experiences are some of my favourite musical memories!
I worked in small cover bands once I was an adult and eventually was encouraged to study Music through Southern Cross University where I completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music with a Major in drum set performance and Audio Production.
University gave me great Industry friends as I found myself working in the production of Hand Pans and playing in a Calypso Party Band before I had even graduated.
Once I was out the other end of my study I fell into education and was inspired by knowing I was sharing the knowledge that was passed onto me.
These days I share my time between playing in commercial bands and education and I plan on so much more!
