Benjamin J. Rogers (Bachelor of Contemporary Music)
Ben Rodgers, Guitar teacher. Byron Music.

Ben Rogers is a musician, composer, arranger and teacher.  He teaches guitar and electric bass, improvisation and music theory.

Ben’s experience, knowledge and humour have made him a popular teacher in the Byron region for the past decade. He is equally fond of swinging fancy chords on vintage archtops as playing a howling strat with his teeth and a wah-wah. He has taught Diploma Ensemble and Community Studies Improvisation classes for the Northern Rivers Conservatorium of the Arts in Lismore, and is engaged in private teaching at a number of schools in the Northern Rivers region. Ben has performed in a diverse range of musical styles including Rock, Jazz, Soul, R&B, Surf, Reggae, Funk, Metal, Latin/Brazilian, Big Band and Country.


Christina Gobert-Freeman, Keyboard Teacher, Byron Music

Christina Gobet-Freeman  - Dip. Teaching (Music/French).

Christina is a trained music and piano specialist with over 25 years of teaching experience.

Her career has included the Yamaha Academy (Perth) as well as primary and high schools in Australia and Switzerland.

Christina has been teaching at Byron Music for over 7 years.

Christina teaches a variety of styles including classic, popular, blues and jazz.

 

Her lessons include the development of listening and music reading skills.
